Members’ Connection Explains Newborn Child Policy

From our August edition of Members’ Connection:

MIT does not automatically enroll your children in your health plan at birth. You are required to provide written notice to MIT of a newborn child within 90 days of the child’s date of birth for them to be eligible to enroll in your health plan. Failure to do so may result in coverage not being provided for the child, even if you already have family coverage.
